NATIONAL HOMESHOW 2026
As Creative Director of the 2026 National Home Show in Toronto, I reimagined the show floor as an immersive design experience rather than a traditional trade show. Inspired by the historic Princes’ Gates and its bold new logo, I introduced multiple types of graphic striping throughout the space and built a vibrant signature palette of pink-red tulip, electric chartreuse, and saturated teal blue to energize the environment. Handmade details and playful design moments were layered throughout the massive show floor, from suspending 250 handmade quilts from the ceiling to creating 30 oversized “bag charms” as sculptural installations inspired by the fashion trend. Even the staff became part of the visual story, wearing custom striped bathrobes that echoed the show’s graphic language. To honour the show’s 70-year legacy, I hand-painted colour directly onto blown-up archival black-and-white Home Show photographs, creating a bridge between past and present. Projects like this are where I thrive, translating big ideas into large-scale, emotionally driven environments that invite people in, tell a story, and make design feel alive.
